We don’t sell sneakers. We can’t get you a deal on auto insurance, and we don’t know much about fresh produce (well, we know a little about produce). Our scope of expertise lies primarily in web development, print design, programming and copywriting. But when people ask us what we do, we don’t have a canned response—because the honest answer depends on what our clients aim to achieve. To quickly explain that “we design” would certainly be true, but it is also greatly simplified.

We are in the business of forging impressions. We make the materials that people interact with every day both look and function better. By applying time-honored design principles across a range of media, Pumpkinfish crafts projects that are as functional as they are beautiful.

In different places within the corporate universe, and likely, on entirely different days, four men reached the very same conclusion: “there’s a better way”. This shared epiphany began a march of fate that brought our partners together, and culminated in the foundation of Pumpkinfish.
Our team is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds indesign, but our ideals are perfectly aligned. We don’t believe in peddling mediocrity, and we see value and beauty in “doing things right”. It’s a principle that applies equally to the relationships we forge, and the work we produce.
We design because we love to develop projects that inspire and amaze, and frankly, this stuff makes us smile—that alone is reason enough.
